Description

The yellow-and-black patch isn't arbitrary: yellow was the Army's traditional cavalry color, and the black diagonal stripe represents iron — marking the division's shift from horseback to tanks. Activated in 1921 as a horse-mounted unit at Fort Bliss, the 1st Cav became the Army's first "airmobile" division in Vietnam, pioneering helicopter warfare at the Battle of Ia Drang. Paired here with the Combat Action Badge, created in 2005.

Available in different sizes and colors. Want a different color than what's listed? Just add a note at checkout. Cut from durable outdoor vinyl. Size ordered is height.
