Originally formed in 1943 as the 12th Armored Group, the unit that became the 120th Infantry Brigade helped defend Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge and earned a Presidential Unit Citation for it. Today, based at Fort Hood, the brigade trains Army Reserve and National Guard units preparing for deployment.
