Description

Designed in 1941 by Captain William P. Yarborough of the 501st Parachute Battalion, the parachutist badge almost looked different — his first sketch, with spread wings and turned-up feather tips, was rejected for looking too much like pilot's wings. The redesign, with wingtips curving up to meet the parachute canopy, became the badge worn ever since. Senior and Master tiers came later, in 1949: a star above the canopy for Senior, a star inside a laurel wreath for Master.

Cut from durable outdoor vinyl, with color and size options. White and lighter colors show best on tinted rear windows. Have a specific request? Just ask — application instructions here.
