Carrying the motto "Ever Vigilant," the 18th Military Police Brigade activated in 1966, took operational control of all non-divisional MP units in South Vietnam that same year, and later trained Iraqi police forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Today it's based in Vilseck, Germany, supporting U.S. Army Europe.
