Reactivated in 1948 at Fort Bliss, the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade set an early missile-defense milestone in 1957 as the first Nike-Ajax guided missile command. Today it's stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea, running THAAD missile defense along the Korean Peninsula.
