Nicknamed the "Bayonet Brigade," motto "Swift and Lethal," the 189th Infantry Brigade traces to 1921 and earned real WWII combat credit across the Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, and Central Europe campaigns. Today it's based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
