The 52nd Ordnance Group traces its lineage to WWII, deployed three campaigns in Vietnam, and moved to Fort Campbell in 2011 after 16 years at Fort Gillem, Georgia. Beyond combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, its EOD teams handle real homeland missions too — including bomb disposal support at events like presidential inaugurations and the Super Bowl.
